Adding end users to your account

All end users must register for a personal account before they can be added to your business account. You need their personal account number and their registered email address.

You can add users one by one in the Account Details section of our ordering interface. Select ‘Add People’ and enter the user’s email address and personal account number. Set the start date and the end date of their relationship with you and select the permissions you want them to have.

To add users in bulk you need to prepare a CSV file containing the personal account numbers and email addresses of the people you want to add formatted like so:

904392,james.joyce@exampleorg.co.uk
904390,william.shakespeare@exampleorg.co.uk
904391,charlotte.bronte@exampleorg.co.uk

Then in the Account Details section select ‘Bulk Add People’ and attach your file. Set the start date and the end date of their relationship with you and select the permissions you want them to have. These will be the same for all users in the upload, but you can edit their profiles individually whenever you want.

Approving your end users’ orders

If you’ve selected to approve any of your end users’ orders before they are confirmed, they will appear in the Approval Queue section of the On Demand ordering interface. Here you can review orders waiting for your approval, approve or reject them and provide a reason for your decision to your end users. We’ll automatically email them to let them know what you decided and why.

You can use the approval function to prevent your end users choosing more expensive delivery speeds or limit the number of orders they can place.
